David Romero, the executive chef of Majestic Hotel & Spa, became a cook by vocation and even today he is clearly devoted to his profession. He has either set up or given a new twist to the gastronomic offer of various leading establishments around Spain. His main task at Majestic is to offer the best possible seasonal products, taking utmost care in their preparation and presentation. He must also be very dynamic and flexible to be able to change menus according to season and time of the day, or to cater for any type of event. He is also responsible for the creation of international & group menus.
All of which is overseen by the award-winning chef Nandu Jubany. After training with renowned chefs like Carles Gaig, Juan Mari Arzak and Martín Berasategui, in 1995 Nandu Jubany opened his first restaurant, Can Jubany. This restaurant received a Michelin star, which it has maintained to this day. Nandu Jubany is the Majestic Hotel & Spa culinary advisor overseeing and promoting the establishment’s culinary service and making it a benchmark in haute cuisine in the city.
